PAUL LOZANO CV
He studied painting at the School of Plastic Arts of the Cabañas Cultural Institute.
In 2007 he was invited to make engravings at the Il Bisonte workshop in Florence, Italy. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions and has exhibited his work individually on 13 occasions. He has more than 50 selections in various national and international competitions including the Rufino Tamayo Biennial, Pedro Coronel Biennial, Shinzaburo Takeda Biennial, in 2008 he won third place in the national painting contest José Atanasio Monroy, in 2010 he won second place in the national award José Atanasio Monroy, he was a scholarship holder of Young Creators of FONCA 2009 – 2010. In 2011 he was invited to participate with his work in the publication of the book «A + C Black» published in London. In 2011-2013 he was awarded the Young Creators Scholarship, in 2013 he obtained the Residency at the Centre Banff Canada by Conaculta FONCA, in 2015 he won third place in the Jorge Martinez painting award and honorable mention in the October Salon, for 2016 he was awarded the artistic residency in Tampere Finland, Second place in the National Biennial Atanasio Monroy, Honorable Mention in the October Salon, First place Salón de Octubre 2018, HANNA CC Barcelona 2018 scholarship, young creators scholarship PECDA 2017-2018, Proyecta Producción 2018 scholarship,Beca Co inversiones FONCA -2017-18, honorable mention Alfonso Michel Biennial 2018, Honorable mention Centro Occidente award 2018, Honorable mention in the first triennial of graphic arts 2019, selected in the Sofia International Triennial of graphic arts in Bulgaria. First place Jorge Martinez award 2020, selected in the festival Under the Subway video Art Night NY 2020.
Hizo estudios de pintura en la escuela de Artes Plásticas del Instituto Cultural Cabañas.
En 2007 fue invitado a realizar grabados en el taller Il Bisonte en Florencia, Italia. Ha participado en numerosas exposiciones colectivas y ha exhibido su obra de manera individual en 13 ocasiones. Tiene más de 50 selecciones en diversos concursos nacionales e internacionales entre ellos la Bienal Rufino Tamayo, Bienal Pedro Coronel Bienal Shinzaburo Takeda, en el 2008 fue acreedor del tercer lugar del concurso nacional de pintura José Atanasio Monroy, en el 2010 fue acreedor del segundo lugar del premio nacional José Atanasio Monroy, fue becario de Jóvenes Creadores del FONCA 2009 – 2010. Para el 2011 es invitado para participar con su obra en la publicación del libro “A + C Black” publicado en Londres.
