Juan Zufiaur was born in Vitoria Gasteiz capital of Euzkai, Vazco Spain, today we are fortunate to have his colors, Zufiaur handles perfectly that friendly abstract, which is understood, which does not generate a mental problem, which leads affable and goes straight to the heart, He generates joy and all those feelings that we want to deal with without fear, without anyone stopping us in that healthy exercise that is contemplation, his horses fly, his butterflies travel a world without barriers and his bulls are beasts that we will love even though they almost always want to get out of the picture. He studied in Granada and graduated in Valencia at the University of San Carlos in the specialty of graphic arts.
In the year 2000 he did a research work on the murals Del hombre del fuego by José Clemente Orozco at the Instituto Cultural Cabañas under the supervision and direction of Gutiérre Aceves thanks to a scholarship granted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Mexico.
He was invited to exhibit that same year at the Topor gallery directed by Francisco Barreda and from there a relationship with Guadalajara was born that has led him to make this his current city of residence. He is currently finishing the edition and a serigraphic folder in the Ajolote gallery directed by Mochis. He works in foundry sculpture with foundryman Saúl Hernández and has developed steel sculptures with Jaime Ramírez. With Ernesto del Rio he is finalizing the details of his new catalog 20 20. Thanks to Ricardo Basulto and Tequila Circulo, he is participating in a special edition of tequila bottles on Mexican art and artists.
Is preparing a cooperation project with artist Miguel Ángel Martín del Campo. He participates in a project with Antonio García Romero and Pataki video to elaborate a documentary about the sierra de mascota and its elixir of life La Raicilla. With Alejandra del Río participates in a project called Nuevos Proyectos de Filantropía (New Philanthropy Projects). With María Laura Annaya participates in the Iberoamérica project. In Guadalajara he presents his work at the Mimí Mendoza Gallery.
